Jonah 1: 8 - 17 ..... Then
said they unto him, Tell us, we pray thee, for whose cause this evil is upon us; What is thine occupation? and whence comest
thou? what is thy country? and of what people art thou? 9. And he said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the
God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land. 10. Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him, Why
hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them. 11. ¶ Then
said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.
12. And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that
for my sake this great tempest is upon you. 13. Nevertheless the men rowed hard to bring it to the land; but they could not:
for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous against them. 14. Wherefore they cried unto the LORD, and said, We beseech thee,
O LORD, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O LORD, hast
done as it pleased thee. 15. So they took up Jonah, and cast him forth into the sea: and the sea ceased from her raging. 16.
Then the men feared the LORD exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the LORD, and made vows. 17. Now the LORD had prepared
a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. . .
MIRACLES & WONDERS JESUS HEALS A BLIND MAN
One
Sabbath day, Jesus was walking through Jerusalem with his disciples. Jesus saw a blind man who was begging for money.
Because it was a holy day, Jesus knew that people were not suppose to work. But he decided to help the blind man anyway.
So Jesus made some mud and spread it on the blind man's eyes. Then Jesus said, " Go wash in the pool. "
The blind man did just as Jesus said. Instantly the man could see. When people saw the healed man, they asked
who performed this miracle. He told them it was Jesus. Word spread that Jesus had healed a man on the Sabbath.
The religious leaders talked to the healed man to find out if this story was true. Some believed him but were angry
that Jesus had broken their rules. Others doubted that he ever was blind at all. But the man knew that Jesus had
truly healed him.
Did you know? The blind man who Jesus healed had been blind all his life?
Questions:

JESUS FEEDS 5,000
One day, Jesus and his disciples tried to find a quiet place to rest.
They climbed into a boat and sailed away. But when Jesus and the disciples arrived on shore, 5,000 people were waiting
for them. Even though he was tired, Jesus taught them and healed those who were sick until it became dark outside.
The people were getting hungry. The disciples thought the crowd should leave to get their own food. But Jesus
told the disciples to feed everyone. They could only find five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus looked up to
heaven and blessed the food. Then he broke it into pieces. He made enough food to feed everyone. Even after
all the people had eaten, there were 12 baskets of food left.
Lesson:
CARING is looking after or helping others. Jesus cared for everyone who needed his help. He healed them and fed
them.
